Ikigai
This is one of my most recent paintings, inspired by the concept of Ikigai, a Japanese philosophy that emphasizes finding purpose and meaning in life. The painting features a serene landscape with a person sitting under a tree, surrounded by elements that represent different aspects of life such as work, passion, and relationships. The colors used in the painting are calming and evoke a sense of tranquility, reflecting the idea of finding balance and fulfillment in life. Additionaly, the structure of the painting directs the viewer's attention to the central figure, emphasizing the theme of pursuit of purpose in life. The refernce photo for this piece was taken on my trip to Japan Tokyo in 2024 September.
